Johnson Matthey is one of the world’s leading suppliers of platinum group metals, as well as silver and gold. Our chemically produced products range from simple metal powders for sintering processes to complex salts for the electroplating industry. Round and flat materials, laboratory instruments, precision parts and capillary tubes complement our product range of semi-finished metal products.

Principal uses involve precious metals from our own recycling processes that by the application of the most modern technologies are among the most efficient and environmentally friendly.

We supply our products for research purposes and to every imaginable industry, ranging from a few grams of platinum for research into anti-cancer drugs up to tons of silver used in the production of sputter materials. We are a very flexible supplier, as we have no minimum supply quantities and are also able to offer small quantities at moderate prices. This enables us to accompany our clients from the initial development steps, through pilot production studies up to industrial-scale production.

Over the last few decades we have extended our product range to include additional strategic metals, such as the Rare Earths, and can supply other substances such as bismuth, indium, gallium, tantalum and tungsten.
